Chand Ke Paar Chalo: A Romantic Drama Film

Chand Ke Paar Chalo (lit. 'Go to the other side of the Moon') is a 2006 Bollywood film directed by Mustafa Engineer and written by Khawar Jalees. The film features Sahib Chopra and Preeti Jhangiani in the lead roles, along with Shakti Kapoor, Alok Nath, Himani Shivpuri, Razzak Khan, and Sanjay Narvekar in supporting roles. The film was released on 31 March 2006 and received mixed reviews from critics and audiences.



The film revolves around the love story of Chander, a tourist photographer in Nainital, and Nirmala, a stage dancer who belongs to a nomadic tribe. Chander falls in love with Nirmala at first sight and promises to take her to Mumbai, the city of dreams. He sells his camera and studio to his best friend Johnny to raise money for their journey. However, things take a turn when Nirmala becomes a famous actress under the name of Garima and starts to ignore Chander. She also falls prey to the schemes of her assistant Kapoor, who dislikes Chander and wants to separate them. Will Chander be able to win back Nirmala's love and trust?

The music of the film was composed by Vishnu Narayan and the lyrics were written by Rishi Azad, Sani Aslam, Afsar Azad, and Babu Bhai. The soundtrack consists of eight songs sung by Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu, Shreya Ghoshal, Jaspinder Narula, Kalpana, Karsan Sagathia, and Aftab Hasmi Sabri. The songs are as follows:
